10 US Cities With The Worst Gridlock Mar 10, 2014
If you find yourself cursing, sweating and blowing smoke out your ears during your commute to and from work, congratulations you’re not the only one who hates traffic. Gridlock is unavoidable. As a driver of a motor vehicle, it’s a certainty that sooner or later you will get stuck in traffic. For some it’s sooner and more frequently than others.
So what is a driver to do? If you are part of the lucky few, you could work from home or maybe work off-peak hours. Most of us, however, don’t have that luxury. We are stuck day after day crawling at tortoise like speeds down the highway, all trying to make it to our destination on time. An accident here or a broken down vehicle there and our commute is ruined.
However, next time you are sitting in traffic about to boil over in anger, take a deep breath and realize others probably have it worse than you. Thanks to a study by Inrix and an article published on forbes.com we have the 10 U.S. cities with the worst gridlock.
