The Saturn L-Series began rolling off the production line in 2000, and consisted of a series of station wagons and mid-size family sedans. Initially consisting of five models, the LW300 wagon was produced for two years with a range of engines and transmissions to choose from. In 2003, the L300 sedan made its entrance, with a front and rear facelift, while the station wagon had its taillights and its front remodeled. The 2004 version had standard traction control and anti-lock brakes, with air conditioning included as standard. Production of the Saturn L-Series was discontinued after the 2005 model year.
